Checking and Handling Items Found in Pockets

Updated over 2 months ago
  1. Check All Pockets Thoroughly: Before washing, carefully inspect every pocket of the clothes to ensure no items are left inside. Common things to look out for include money, keys, pens, and small personal belongings.

  2. Secure Found Items: If you discover any items in the pockets:

    • Place all items in a small ziplock bag to keep them safe and organized.

    • Label the bag with the customer's name and a brief description of the contents if needed.

  3. Notify the Customer Promptly: Send a message to the customer, letting them know what items you found. Be sure to provide a clear description of each item.

  4. Return the Items Thoughtfully: When you deliver or return the freshly washed clothes:

    • Include the ziplock bag with the items securely attached or packed with the clothing.

    • Inform the customer about where the ziplock bag is placed with their clean clothes, ensuring they can easily find it.

By following these steps, you demonstrate attention to detail and respect for the customer's belongings, contributing to a positive and professional experience.
